Reading Dr. C's story got me to thinking we should share our funniest stories about our birds.

I've had so many but I think the funniest one was when I was upstairs in my office and was having, what I thought, was a conversation with my husband who was downstairs. It turned out to be Sammie. She was saying all the right things and answering my questions.:roflmao2:

LOL thats great!! Reminds me of my husband and i when were in a store and he walks away without me knowing and i call the guy next to me honey lol!

Marlon is only 7 months, he does cute and comical stuff all the time, he is in that exploring stage. He has just started this thing were he is jumping off of his stand and coming to look for me, i think its soooo cute.

I would have to say so far the funniest thing he has done is one morning i was making coffee and i gave him a coffee filter to play with. I had my back turned for a few minutes and when i turned around he had chewed a huge hole in the filter and was wearing it! I posted the pic in an earlier thread and gave the little story about it.:rotflmao: Here is the pic again for those who maybe didnt see it!!!

I had a prolonged cough a year ago... and Holly would make these sweet little coughing sounds... just like me only very soft and sweet. I was afraid she'd imitate my cough "forever", but once my cough was gone, she quit doing it!

LOL! Thats cute! I have heard of birds that cough and sneeze after someone has had a cold. :funny: Marlon picked up a new sound about a month ago and he hasnt dropped it yet, i try to just ignore it lol. I couldnt figure it out at first until one day i opened the garbage can and the lid sqweeked! :agree: I went through the whole house and oiled all the door jams. The other day i had marlon in my room and i was in my bathroom doing my hair when i realized that my curling iron makes a little sqweek too. All of a sudden he started imitating that noise, im like omg noooo!! His new thing now for the last couple of days is the beep of the microwave, im like TALK instead!
They are just too cute, and amazing!

Love the coffee filter pic. Aren't they amazing?

Sammie has a "smokers cough" she learned from my husband. Not very feminine sounding.

The first time I took Sammie to the Vet and after he'd examined her he handed her back to me and she made a loud kissing sound. Everyone in the office cracked up.

This morning Luke had hiccups, after each hiccup we would hear a little voice saying "cUse um" and then a little laugh. I have one polite little Grey here :funny: As soon as they went out the door he said "gone, Bucc come out" :funny:

I'm off for NYC. My BIL (from France) is running in the marathon. I don't get to see my sister very often so it will be really nice.

Sammie knows we're leaving and won't come out of her cage to go into her travel cage. I'm sure I'm going to get bitten!

I have airplane butt! Wish I could say the traveling is over but it isn't. Two more trips coming up. Oy Vey!
