I don't know where you are located... and I don't know any breeders except a couple besides myself in Indiana... and I raise mine to be completely tame and don't always have babies, as we only have one female, and we only let her have 2-3 clutches each year... They are a wonderful species! Are you anywhere within driving disance to Central Indiana?

I lived in Baton Rouge for 3 yrs, New Orleans for awhile... Lake Charles for 6 years! Been to Houma, too!
What town do you live in? I was down there in January and filmed the Katrina devastation in New Orleans area.

Don't know anyone with birds there except the finch guy near Lafayette. I'll put his link here for you:
