Sammy turned 4 mos on the 1st of September, btw.

Tonight I was washing some pans in the sink... Sammy flew over and landed on my head to see what was going on. Then he flew down to the sink area... and then climbed down into the sink as I got the pans out of the way. He began biting at the water stream and flapping his wings... I left him there, ran for the camera, and the following ensued... in order of the photos being taken. Note the last pic... he flew back for MORE!

Here's one of the funnier ones:

I picked up the sprayer and sprayed him... he loved it! The water temp was cold, and that was fine with him. He flew from cage to cage, shaking himself all over everyone.

 They are just too cute, he looks like he's having a great time in the water.

Hey Sammy how bout having a word with Bucc to let him know what fun the water is.

I love the ones with Holly in the background, can't you just hear her saying "Oh Chicks, what are they like" lol.

Holly was watching as though to say, "what's WRONG with you???" I put her in the sink and she had a fit when a little trickle of water came on -- she climbed up my shirt and wanted nothing to do with it!

Sammy breaks the mold in every respect from every other bird we have.

:thanx: He continually amazes me with the things he comes up with to do... and he's absolutely fearless -- give him a new toy and he is on it right then!

He thinks all the cage tops are for him to play on.:agree:

He would be a big hit with the "pool ladies" In that last photo where Sammy comes back for more, his wings look like a cape and he makes me think of Count Dracula bending over his victims for a drink

All those pictures are great! Sammy is one awesome bird Shirley, that thanks to you is enjoying a super life. I'm totally impressed at him flying while being so wet. That makes one heck of a statement.:agree:

Sammy, Uncle Jim is so proud of you and your mom. Don't you be too hard on your mom as I know you flighted birds can be at times. Take your time and learn to trust her so you both can enjoy this wonderful journey you're starting.:emot-danc

That last statement really describes the scene well! He just couldn't get enough!

And Jim, I've SOAKED birds before, but he got his wings DRIPPING wet, and then took off flying! He went from cage to cage, shaking water all over everyone! Michelle started taking a bath in her water cup! :roflmao2: (she and Play-Doh like to take baths, but don't want you to give baths to them)

None of my other large birds have been interested in moving, much less flying, while wet.

And I'm sure that both Dr C and Sammy would love it. They'd have the time of their lives. :funny: Of course Shirley you'd have to go along to take the pics.
