Im sure ona daily basis , you handle quite a variety of birds, what is your funniest story about a patient, and has there ever been any that you've been frightened of??

You guys are right...I totally missed this one...
A funny story (not a bird) about an iguana....about 20 years ago, right after I had bought my own practice, I had a client bring Benny, their pet iguana, in because he was quite lethargic and not eating his usual diet of lettuce. Poor Benny was in a state of advanced malnutrition from eating the improper diet for the previous 6-7 years. Not being experienced in reptile medicine, I consulted with the zoo and began administereing supplements and trying to get Benny to eat a more balanced diet.
The next month, returning to the clinic after lunch, I was met by my assistant with a puzzled expression on her face. She told me that Benny's owner had dropped off a fecal specimen, but that she was having difficulty setting up the sample. When she showed me the "fecal" sample, I burst out laughing. It was an egg-Benny turned out to be a girl!
