I am tired read my book till 3am ..:agree: ...and am not going to get much rest this weekend as we have a un-expected visit from Shannon my brothers second eldest boy , (28yrs) he flew down from Brisbane for the weekend , I have just finished cleaning up after a nice long breakie and chat catching up, now hh Joe and David have gone to surprise the folks (Mum and Dad ) for a visit then they will go to the work-shop and talk WORK ...maybe in the future Shannon will come and work for us as we expand into exporting more , (our intentions anyway)..I got the boys out aft6er they left and cleaned the cage gave them cuddles and chopped their vegies for the morning , they are now happiley in there room , of course they thought their throats had been cut when they didn`t get breakie with us ..lol..Locked in those tiney cages , bab Mum/Mom...lol..
They have to stay in the cage when our visitors are here as you know they won`t accept anyone into the flock ...pains they are..and our guest room is connected to their room has its own on-suite so guests can feel really private (except for the boys lol)..anyway they are FREE for the next few hours at least ..
Zeus has just had a bath the doggy wash has just left , Anita is sleeping after working till 3.30am for extra $$$ her trip o/seas is coming up very soon..
The sun is shining and the change that was predicted yesterday afternoon has still yet to show up...typical weather forecast , never get it right...
I guess I`ll ring Jewells (sister) and let her know Shannon is down and if she wants to come say Hi ! to him we will have a lunch Sunday here with the folks after Church...
So thats my weekend planned , don`t know whats happening tonight , maybe a trip to town or to the movies after dinner or just a night chatting and catching up...Need to go clean the outside area its a mess from the wild fids , never ending cleaning but its worth it to enjoy watching them..

Whats everyone elses Plans..???Byee for now..:wavey:

Hi Majj :wavey:

What is your family business? Exporting what? Sounds interesting!

Tomorrow (Saturday) I film a wedding about a 1/2 hour from home, will be gone all afternoon doing that, then home to relax, then Sunday will check the digital tapes to see how it looks, next week begin editing another wedding, then tomorrow's wedding after that.

Tonight we went out to dinner with friends -- we don't do that very often -- we had a good time visiting. Had halibut with shrimp and scallops on top -- Yum!

You enjoy your weekend with family! :woot:

Here is a bit of info..Shirley Joe had designed and produced a Pump its used in the mines all over Australia and we have started expots to the U.K ..its a long hard haul , trying to break into a market when there are so many BIG GROUPS ..we are just a small family business and have taken many years to build up things are coming good right now and we have just built another work shop and hope to ne able to manufacture our own parts in the future instead of contracting out to machine shops here, will reduce our costs but it is taking a lot to set up ...

I am so looking forward to my weekend..with baby season starting it's going to be busy at work with baby birds..luckily I did most of my major cleaning at my house on my day off on wednesday that included 10 bird cages plus the bird room floor, 4 snake tanks, 1 Iguana enclosure, 2 Uromastyx lizard enclosures..so saturday gets to be my slack day..I know when I need a slack day the last two nighs I have come home, fed the birds made dinner for myself and wound up falling asleep in my recliner not normal for me unless I am very exhausted...so looking forward to the weekend..only thing I may try and get accomplishe is some birdie nails need to be trimmed..
