Skyler's Backyard Tree

This is the tree our birds sit in during the summer -- when their wings are clipped, the lower branches are theirs to chew. But Skyler is flighted, so we have to keep him harnessed.

When the leaves are on the tree, they love to chew each leaf stem and watch it fall to the ground!

Thanks Jenell! In the summer, he and Holly pick all the leaves off the lower branches and watch them drop to the ground. I can just imagine what a flock of 'toos does to a tree in Australia! Fortunately, they never try to climb any higher than the first couple three branches! :D

She is simply beautiful wearing her harness in the tree.

That is soooo typical of the toos. They take a leaf off, turn their head sideways and you know they are thinking "Did I do that." Frisbee is doing great and Touche is finally collarless. Razzle is my juvenille delinquent and Dazzle has turned into a sweetie pie. I did make a great find when we moved. The packing plain newspaper that comes in sheets, are great cage papers.
