<!--emo&:)-->Merlin flies from boing to boing through Dr. Cook's house -- so here he is with a background my son Troy took of the Pacific Northwest Hoh Rainforest behind him! (Think the Philippines!!) http://9.forumer.com/html/emoticons/bof/smile.gif Dr. Cook is our Avian Vet.<!--endemo-->

These are photos I took shortly after Dr. Cook first took care of Skyler when his legs and under his wings were cut and infected, and she came in on her day off to examine him, do a complete feather-picker blood workup on him, and skin culture, fecal, the whole 9 yards. His condition came on very rapidly - practically over night! I knew her, she'd treated our birds for minor things, but I didn't know her like we do now. She made home visits to see what might have caused such a change in his behavior, but found nothing. He was not hormonal, and not yet 2 yrs old.
I took Merlin's photos in her exam room after asking, and didn't tell her why...then edited them and made wall portraits and wallets for her. She first started Skyler's treatment the first week in November. Now (4/1/05) he is out of his collar 24/7 and is good as new!
New diet, new behaviors, more showers, more mistings, different toys, happy happy Skyler! and Happy US!!
