Here are a couple pictures I took today of couple of the babies at work...sorry the little ones are a bit blurry but at this age not much muscle control so they don't really stay still long enough for a good picture.
These are Umbrella Cockatoo Babies

Oh Sadenna, they are so tiny and precious. How can you work with them and not want to bring them all home? I'd want em all.

lol easily don't have room for anymore cages..there is no way I could fit one more cage in our bird room..someday we plan on adding and expanding the bird room to space the cages out better plus there are some extras things I would like to have in the bird room a few more windows, a Utility sink to aid in bird room cleaning, would like to have a place to scrub grates other than hauling them off to the bathroom..but 10 birds is our limit "No more room at the Inn" as my husband says.
Here is a picture of Harley a U2 that belongs to the lady I work for, he is a wild caught Too somewhere between 25-35 years of age as a rough guess maybe older ..but just a sweet cuddle bug loves everyone.he got his name because he does this movement with his leg like he is kick starting a motorcycle...lol recently he has decided I am his very best friend and I need to be fed..lol I just love Harley.

lets see she has had harley for about I have to say 4-5 years..he originally belonged to a guy who doted tons of attention on him and just spoiled him and when he got married, the wife could not stand all the dust, so Harley was moved out to the garage where the husband figured he would spend alot of his time tinker around and such..well didn't happen sometimes they would even forget to turn the light on for him and feed him..then a friend of Julies found about Harely and went and saw him, when he saw how Harley was living he told the guy he wanted to take Harely home and get him out of there..no complaints from the guy so Julies friend got him and had him for a bit..but started working more hours and asked Julie if she woult take him and she did...Harley is great I need to get some more pictures of him..he does have one strange quirk though if it is just me and Julie in the room he is fine but if 3 or more people are in the room he hollers this is because if there are that many people in the room then someone has to be scratching his head..lol

Thanks, not mine though belong to the lady I work for she raises birds in her home...so I am around many varieties of birds all day long, plan on getting more baby pictures tomarrow of other birds...
Thank you for sharing Harley's story. He sounds like a wonderful bird. I am glad he was loved at first, it's so sad to hear about his life in the garage. That makes me sick. Grrrrr ~ angry!!
It is good she got him out of there when she did. Please give him extra love and scritches from me.

He's a good bird...and lot of people are amazed he is a wild caught they don't think they can be that cuddly..but harley is.the only thing about Harley he is funny about his feet, you know how you tell a bird to step up and they put one foot on your hand and you lift them up the rest of the way sometimes well if you do that to harely he will bite you..but once he is on your arm or cuddling on your chest you can rub his feet but you just can't pick him by them, you have to let him climb onto you from the cage..Julie thinks maybe he was grabbed by the feet out of tree in the wild which may be the reason he is fussy about it..but it's just theory could of been lots of things.

Thanks for sharing Harley's story Sadenna and those babies are adorable:wub: Like Jean, I would want to bring them home:funny:
Strange what you say about Harley as Toto we believe Toto was a wild caught import, we were told he was 2 when we got him 21 years ago and although he wasn't scared or abused he wasn't totally tame. Now he's the biggest cuddlebucket on the planet:roflmao2: What is strange is what you say about his feet, he is not comfortable with stepping up either, he will in the cage and he lets us stroke his feet and lets me file his nails but he would much rather climb on you and be held rather than just be on your arm. I wonder if anyone else has any experience of this.:scratchch
