I've decided to take up gardening and I've been taking the birds out with me onto the screened patio where they can see me. They all get baths, Sammy plays in the hose LOL he's soooo funny he's such a water baby and they love it!!! It's so nice to do something for them that makes them sooooo happy for a couple hours a day and has relieved so much stress for me. I think I'm going to start reading too. Any good book suggestions? Birds or otherwise, I was thinking of ordering The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

Leah, it sounds like your feathered babies are having a good time while you are gardening. It always makes them feel good to go out and play.

I am glad you have found time to enjoy some reading. I think you'd enjoy the book about Wild parrots of Telegraph Hill. Majj is an avid reader and can suggest an array of great books on several subjects , what perticular stories do you like reading best?

Gee.. if I may be so bold.. could I recommend one of my books? How about NOT WITHOUT ANNA? It shows the story of how a small, quiet, Florida town and its families become torn apart when one teenager dies of questionable circumstances and the other is held responsible and commits suicide. The story goes on to show how the town and families cope with the tragic deaths to become a closer, more involved community that truly cares enough about its children and their future to take control and fight back.

Don't order the Feb 2003 one. That's a mistake. Order the Trade Paperback in January 2004, for 11.99 for the softcover or 21.99 for the hardcover. Your choice. The "other" format is an e-book. (electronic download) It looks like Border's has the descriptions wrong. It looks like it has the hardcover for 11.99 and the paperpack for 21.99. That's backwards.

I'd order online if I were you. You'll get it faster than having to go to the bookstore and ordering it through them.

I have another book out titled FOREVER UNTIL WE MEET.

For anyone who ever thought they found their soul mate online.

A woman faces a lonely life in a small town after her daughter leaves home and decides to spice up her life by letting loose on a computer bulletin board. An innocent to computers and messaging, she falls prey to a career "knight" of the computer realm.

Yeah I did find it a little odd that the paperback was more expensive than the hard.:) Actually my store has it in stock so I can just go get it instead of having to order it.:D Thank for being so bold. LOL Leah

Oh good. I'm glad your store has it in stock. It's always hard to tell which stores would have it and which ones you need to order from.

Hey.. I'm glad you liked the book's description. I guess being bold is all part of the game. If you like it, I hope you tell your friends. :D
