This is the Shower stand we made for our birds. It's just the height I need so I don't get a back ache giving the birds a shower with the extension sprayer we use to wash the dog. It is also the width between the double sinks on our bathroom counter top. Note the end-cap to keep water from entering the PVC tubes. Nothing is glued together so we can take it all apart to transport it easily when we travel.

Here it is with the end-cap removed, and the bar placed across the top with a toy attached. We use it like this when we visit friends or relatives for a few hours... it gives the birds a place to sit and a toy to play with. We only had one parrot when we built this, and we usually don't take all three when we make a 2-3 hr visit to friends' homes anyway. The end cap is circled in red. I took Shelby to school with me twice, and she was content to sit on this stand most of the day and watch the kids, play, and nap. Again, the whole thing comes apart and fits nicely in a groceray sack. We used a router to rough up the perching bar so she wouldn't slip.
