allison,
do you notice an aroma(flowery) with your dusky? when i had my max and dusky pionuses(?) or is pionusi(?) i always got a whiff of a floral scent.:flower:

I think of it more as honey or stale fruit loops.

Ah and I was thinking a flying air freshner, honey not to bad but the stale fruit loops :shrug:

My amazon and Pionus both get that smell. I read on another board that when an amazon does it, it means they are happy?
Personally, I don't like the smell at all. It reminds me of dirty sweaty socks that someone tried to cover up with perfume. :p My husband on the other hand likes it.

Well, it doesn't mean that they are happy it just gets more and more strong until you bathe them.
I don't think it's a sweaty smell at all. I think it's more sweet smelling. Pionus are closely related to Amazons so they do smell similar.
