thanks for the pics! love those Macaws! Had a yellow-collared Macaw for while(lost it one day a yr ago, no sign of problems:( )
SunDancer was a great bird, really bonded to me,would fly to wherever i was to be near me,,,and regurg on me(good thing i knew that was a endearing action!)
Always working up the nerve to move on getting a big macaw,,hyacinths are out of my price range,and the blue/gold at my local bird rescue shop ,is way hateful of men,,and i'd prefer to get one from a baby,,so i'd be up on it's bonding, and behavior,,

I've got a yellow collared. Those mini-macaws are a hoot, definitely the center of attention! Great pets, they are!

OH tell me about..keebler definantly makes himself the cener of attention..lol if we have company over or someone other than just hubby and myself are in the room..he starts off jibber jabbering quietly then he gets louder and louder and soon he starts in with the repeating of words he knows and each he says them louder and louder he also gets going saying his name over and over again..lol reminds me of a little kid trying to get attention "look at me, look what I can do...over here look look" all the while he is bobbing his head or bouncing up and down..lol My other fave mini is the Severe they are alot of fun also.

They are soooo pretty!!!!! I almost bought a yellow collared once(he was at Petsmart was being transfered to his 4th store in like 3 or 4 years, very sad) but hubby came home with the PIonus that hates me.:p Go figure! The YC found a home though the day before he was going to be transferred.


They are beautiful, I always like mini everything.LOL and I love the macaw personality. Thanks for sharing your babies!!!!:D
