Our Doberman, Hooch

He is definitely our clown! We love to take the dogs out with us on Halloween http://9.forumer.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif . Hooch is a very special poochy with a bit of a long story. He is a red dobie, w/o cropped ears and will be 4 in May. SOOOO< 4 years ago, just before the 4th of July he and his brother came into my life. If we did not take them in, they would have been destroyed http://9.forumer.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif First I should say that his brother's name was Turner (like the movie) and is over the bridge now. Turner looked darker and was smaller than Hooch is. Turner was my "doggie soul mate". Both dogs were 6 weeks old, but only the size of 4 weeks, very scrawny and undernourished. It took me a few weeks to get them both to where they should be. Hooch has baggy skin due to this. He loves everyone, rarely barks, and LOVES to smile http://9.forumer.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I hope to show you sometime. He also has a "hair" problem and tends to lose patches of hair due to allergies. He really belongs to my daughter, as you can see in her picture in our community place.

What a great costume. Some dogs are so tolerant of that. I can't imagine putting something like that on Jack. He'd tear it off in a minute.

Luv those Dobes! Had one while in high school at home, Was the biggest baby ever,,would bring his sleeping bag to use when he thought is was time for bed, and we would have to "tuck" him in,,(with only his eyes out,nose covered- thank you,,,,) He knew how to bark/protect when he needed to , but never was over onery to any visitors,,,,think he had their respect riight off the bat,,,,
