I'm co-pres for AAFP (american assoc of feline practitioners) here at Purdue. We organized a cat adoption day. Adopted out 15 hard to place adult cats. It was awesome. Even made the news!

Michelle,
This is absolutely wonderful! I read both stories, and just loved them. I'm so proud you all found homes for so many lucky older cats! I was raised in the country in West Lafayette, and some of our cats as a child/teenager came from the Tippecanoe Humane Society.
Congratulations!
Btw, where do you plan to practice when you graduate? And when is graduation?
Hi Michelle,
That is such a worthwhile project. It's people like your group that make a difference in the life of a mature cat.
Thanks for the links. Both articles are truly touching.

My family is all in MI (and my mom is very very ill). Steve misses his family as well. I'm hoping that the job offer I have work out and I will end up back in MI in the next year. Graduation is the second weekend of may NEXT YEAR! One more year to go.....start clinics in 23 days....
