Here's his
Introduction Page (http://www.bourkes-parakeet.nl/index.html)

He's been breeding Bourke's for over 30 years!
He writes his work up like a scientific paper:
Purpose - Introduction - Procedures - Results - Concusions
Pretty cool guy! And he keeps his site updated regularly - monthly!

I'm so glad I found his site yesterday! :emot-danc

His breeder a few years ago described him as a Rosy. Some have more yellow and/or turquoise/blue on their tails and lower backs/sides than others... Kilroy has very little blue and no yellow, but her sister had some yellow. Kilroy is our mama Bourke's.

Papa Bourke looks a little like the lower right baby in this photo.

Maybe this breeder reffers to the baby in the lower right as a rain bow but the baby picture she sent me was pink with the yellow and brown ?

Well, I'm sure the pinks have that coloring as well as the Rosies...

Shirley, another thing today I saw in a pet store a bourkie like your (with yelow on the wings) Do you know if I make a cruce between than one and ancestral the color of the clutch?. I was looking for a name of your color variety and I didn't find it do you know why?

At pet store they didn't know if it was a male or female (can you believe it?) If I buy it I'm going to make they do, I think thay have to say me, because they are a very prestigious pet national store and they send all animals garanticed its name is +KOTA you can find them in internet they have a web page.
