Well this is my 6 mth old Milabeana,,aka, Milly,,shes still Milly for now,,any minute(by the end of the day) I should have her DNA results back, if she is in fact a male, then I dont know what her name will be,,LOL

She is a stunner, :wub: I too love the second picture, but theres something about the first one I just love.

Bucc my CAG is sitting here with me, saying whos that, He's a bit of a flirt I'm afraid, but I'll try to keep him under control. Thanks for Sharing your pics of Milly, she is great.

Congratulations! I'm just speechless at her beauty -- and so thrilled to see she is FLIGHTED before being clipped! Wow! She gets to learn how to fly, land, turn, all that before getting clipped - that's so wonderful!!

I read your/her story in the info reference forum, and it just brought tears to my eye... and she is one lucky little girl to have been found by you!! I was going to say she MUST be a girl -- she has that dainty girl face and head structure.

She's just too beautiful and sweet for words! And I love her name! :heart: :heart:

I was teary eyed reading your post. It's a miracle she went to someone like you that could nurture her properly. She is blessed to have you for her mom. :tighthug:

Her name is beautiful. Like Shirley mentioned, her facial structure is dainty like a little girl. :heart: She is adorable and I am glad you brought her here to share with us. I look forward to watching her grow. :wub:

She is absolutely adorable, and still got that baby face ;)

Looking at the pics I was thinking "yup, that's a girl" and to see later you said the DNA came back a girl....there's no doubt by the lightness of her feathers!!

Brandy, have just read your post and seen your pics in the Thread "Attention all Grey Owners" have to say I was horrified to read what that poor little girl had to put up with from that Breeder. No toys and forceweaned, how lucky she is to have found you, and I'm sure you feel the same way about her. She is truly one lucky, lovely gal, we love her here. I love those pics also.:wub: Beautiful.

aww,,Thanks guys

The breeder actually did clip her, he clipped 7 feathers, but thankfully, her wing feathers were not doen growing in yet so when her feathers grew in, she basically just had the tips missing so she could still fly,,I let her fly for 3.5 months, and then I clipped her on Saturday actually, and I only clipped 4 feathers

Ive been blessed with Milabeana, I am truly the lucky one to have her, and Im glad you guys like her name, alot of people dont like it :(

Of all my birds we only named one and that was Bailey. The others came to me with names that they were accustomed to so I never changed them.

Another nice photo Brandy. We do the same thing with the plastic rings over the perch for them to play with. Is she having fun playing in the water or were you misting her? She looks a little wet on her chest.

Milabeana is a fine name, I like it. She is a little sweetie.:wub:

and Jim she LOVES bathing in her waterbowl, my Alexandrine taught her that whenever the vacuum cleaner is on, its a good time to bath,,LOL

Brandy -- I see the wing clip -- a PROPER wing clip! So many clip them so short they can't even get their balance, much less glide to the ground. that's wonderful! Thanks for sharing that photo!
