I am a new member and thought I would introduce myself. I have had Parrots for many years(30+) and have alwas taken rehomes. I have a 27yr B&G,Eleanora Too,Congo Grey,Timneh Grey,Lovie. All but the TAG are birds that lost their homes for various reasons. My B&G is a wild caught and is my dream come true after much work and blood loss.:D

I lurked on boards for a few years and now I'm hooked and belong to a few boards. I believe in education and helping new bird owners with problems they might encounter with their birds. I always use the name Doubleyolk so some might have seen it before and know me from other boards.

Looking forward to meeting new people and sharing what I know about Parrots in my years of being owned by Parrots.

It sounds like you have quite a nice feathered household. Helping birds and one another is what it's all about. We have a friendly and congenial group here that enjoy sharing good times, helpful hints, and most of all, our birds.

I call my Lovie a "Pit Bull With Feathers" and he is a hands off bird. He rides on our shoulder and makes the rounds every morning at feeding time and flies off to check out what is in food dishes and then flies back to the shoulder. His name is Petey and his friend is the Cockatoo Eddie who is another story.
