This is Sonja, our 9-yr-old Mini Schnauzer. She and the birds ignore each other completely, but we never leave them alone together. Holly is determined to sneak up on Sonja and bite her for no reason, which would NOT be a good thing... so we never leave them alone together even for a moment.
