Hi there..............just a quickie................Can I give Harry Pasion Fruit.
If I can, do I take the flesh out of the peel or just cut it in half and give it as it is. It is a greeny colour inside and it appears to be only half full. I only bought them yesterday, but as I have never bought them before I am not sure of what they should be like :thanx:

Not sure bout that one, it's not something I've tried with Bucc yet. I started to search the web but so far can't find anything that says "yes you can" or "no you cant. I'll keep trying hopefully find something soon.

I've given Bob passionfruit, and what I did was to chop into smaller peices and yes I gave him the skin too. I know the 'insides' don't stick to the skin very well, but it is just juice otherwise
So, if it's not ok that's news to me!

oh and when ripe the flesh should be a yellowy colour with seeds amongst it.

My Boys have eaten Passionfruit and love it ..What a mess they make ..I just cut it in half, they love the seeds...

The only fruit I have ever encountered that should be avoided is persimmon fruit, I lost a jenday feeding that, hard lesson learned, other than that all other fruits should be fine, some fruit parts should be avoided as well like fruits with a pit, the fruit is fine but the pits are not, one fruit that is a big hit is cactus pear, occasionally they are available in my area and the birds really like them.
