My cousin also owns an AG or should I say, he owns her. We love to compare stories about our babies.

Seth's latest thing is to rock side to side and sing, Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone, imitating Stevie Wonder.

He also has a large bell hanging in his cage and he wears it on his head like a hat. My cousin says she thinks he's mental!

 Bucc will also rock side to side, and up and down, and head bang, he won't sing but will say "Dance, dance, Bucc Dance" heaven help us if we don't say how clever he is. All we get all day and night is "clever Bucc"

They are amazing and such a laugh!

Sammiesmom, your cousins bird sounds like a real ham. I'd love to watch him sing "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" and dance to it....
Awwww, they are adorable!  I hope you can get a pic of him wearing that bell hat.

Elvie dances up a storm to any music... he doesn't sing yet, he tries, just hasn't mastered getting past a puff yet.

:thanx: for sharing your cousin's bird with us.

I don't think my cousin is a picture taker. I'll ask her though. I invited her to this site but she's really busy and probably won't make it.

Seth is a character. He has a swing in his cage and says, "I'm swinging." He demands clean water first thing in the morning and sings Jingle Bells.

He often speaks in my recently departed aunt's voice, which has scared visitors. They think she's come back from the dead until my cousin explains it's just Seth.

My cousin thinks he's a little bit "off" when he sits there with the bell on his head. She says, "Do you think I should be worried? Maybe he's not right." :D

I think your cousin would love knowing her bird is not at all a bit off..... I hope she stops by to read about more of those off the wall, cute and funny things other companion parrots do that just send us into those hilarious laughs.:rotflmao:

Here is a funny one. One I was out and about town in the car with Elvie.

Now, picture Elvie in his bird travel play carrier. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v387/jeanaskins/Elvie/E_travel_carrier_jacket.jpg sitting in the front seat of the car, looking out the windshield watching me leave the car walk into the post office. In 2 minutes or less I came out of the post office to see 3 adults standing in front of my car, they were cracking up laughing at Elvie who was perched on his baby carrier proud as a peacock because he was getting attention for his baby cry. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. He was literally making "baby cry sounds" all the while, happy because he had their attention when his mama left him. He learned to mimic baby cry from our grand baby when she started to cry. He saw that got attention and has used that to get attention time and time again, It works for baby and it works for me.

What a great story! I would have been in the crowd laughing and cheering your bird on.

Which one of you is Emma? The one who sent me the photo show of her bird? There is something very connected about it. The music you chose was played by my best friend, Cynthia Jordan. Gave me great feelings. Small world.
