Oh how lovely your fid room is, Bucc has just taken over the whole house. As you will see he will not have many toys on his playstand.

Bucc's cage with Errol and Flynns next to it.

Playstand minus many toys. These on here are the only ones he will allow

Curtain Pole that Bucc has made his.
A lot of time he will sit on this, or his cage, or even the top of the door. But hardly ever on his playstand, it seems this is where he will go toilet and thats it. Ah well. Money is obviously no problem to him!!!

I know what you mean by getting some good ideas, I just love the branches in plant pots brilliant idea. I have posted photo's of Errol and Flynn so you can see them better.

This is Flynn, he is a lineolated parakeet, and although really scared is coming on really well.

This is Errol and he is a Golden Mantle Rosella, again very scared but doing well.
They had a real bad start most of their lives and as a result will not come out of their cage for anything, so we are going to build them an aviary where they can fly around like proper birds. They are really wonderful and I love them dearly. Even Bucc gets on their cage and they don't mind that at all but they are not to sure when he starts talking to them. He has got their whistles down to a fine art and will spend quite a while whistling to them. It is lovely to watch.

Nice setups Majj and Peta.

I'm with you Majj.... it's like living in a bird cage/house -- Peta my boys have also taken over the house. Well I kind of let it happen after they learned to behave some what. You may have seen some of this photos.

We tried the play stands but being flighted they seemed to be mostly in the way. Seems what ever we were doing was more interesting. They liked the top of the TV so I put boards on top. They have toys up there and it's their safe zone where nobody (not even me or Sharon) every pushes/harasses them when they are there. Eating perches are in the kitchen and the other is mainly a potty perch in the family room. That's a piece of cardboard on the curtain rod in the last pic - Teo was young and wasn't trained to not bite the rod and curtains yet.

Hmmmmm.... what are you saying Shirley?!?!?:scratchch We're weird and you are just now realizing you fit the mold too.

Thanks Majj, Ya know it's nice and most people are impressed and think it's awsome when the boys (being so) big fly around the house -- but when we had are teil (flighted) he was the one that really had a good time in the house. That little bugger would fly all over, turning, diving, climbing up to the ceiling and not stop till he was so out of breath I would fear he was going to have a heart attack. I bet Sunny and Buddy have a great time in your house.

Oh and Peta, Errol and Flynn are adorable!!!

Ya know, what cracks me up is when we have Skyler downtown in a harness, and people talk to him, and then say, "OH! His Wings aren't clipped????" and we say, "Well, no. Birds fly, and that's what he likes to do at home!" :rotflmao:
