Hi, I'm Greg. About a week and a half ago a stray sun conure flew into our backyard and this site is the result. I am the Sr. Administrator of a huge web forum for saltwater aquariums (http://reefcentral.com) and am the administrator and owner of another smaller web forum for marine aquariums (http://thereeftank.com). In looking for help learning how to care for our new conure, I ran into Shirley, Bill and crew. After some discussion we decided to launch this new website togeter. I can't guarantee there won't be any problems, in fact I can almost guarantee there will be problems. But, we have an excellent infrastructure in place and a lot of very smart people working on it both technically and creatively. I hope you all realize how lucky you are to be a part of this group. I certainly do!!!! I've never seen a team pull together so quickly and work so hard to accomplish a very difficult effort so seamlessly.

I'm very happy to be here and can't wait to see what comes next.

On to the important bits. Here's the culprit to blame for all of this. ;) These pictures were taken the first time he flew into our yard.

Thank you so very much, Greg! And it sure has been a pleasure working with you! What a grand way to lose about 7 lbs!! 'course Steve asked me who I was last night... :D

Bailey is one lucky birdie! And, I'm so excited to dig into one of Vickie's novels! I love her Website!!

Vince!! You joined! I'll have to go find you and see what birds you have (short term memory here...)

But really, Greg... I always told Bill... to borrow a phrase, "If you build it, they will come" and he's been building it for 2 or 3 yrs now in various ways and places... so this is the grand payoff for all the pain! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

now here comes the mush ~:heart::tighthug::tighthug::grouphug:

Hey there "Boss"! Just wanted to offer a formal hey there to you,,,,
BTW: who was it that gave you the "tip" that eventually got you to capture the Sun Conure? :highfive: :foot-tap:
LOL, I think it was me!
In the back of my mind, i was hopin' to "adopt" the Sun, (if no-one claimed it) when i was going to be down Greg's way in a few weeks. but it looks like the Sun found a good home right where it is ,,,,:biggthump no problem:wink:

Congrats on a great board, and :thanx: to everyone involved with making it that way!

Jeff, thanks for the tips you suggested to Greg on catching Bailey. Sorry, you can't have him. We have become a family, with our dog, our fish, and now our bird.

Didn't everyone do a great job on the new board? I think it's awesome. But, then, I might be a teeny bit biased, since Greg's my hubby.

I don't remember who suggested what Jeff, my first impulse was to get a cage and put food in it. Someone else did suggest that, it might have been you. I tried the towel thing and he wouldn't let me near him.
