Yep, my guys love the seeds too. Sometimes they ignore the end pieces with no seeds. IIRC (If I remember correctly) cucumber is listed as one you need to wash really good. That's over here anyway. A lot of pesticide is used on them.

Cucumbers don't have seeds.....
maybe your cucumbers are different. WEll they're all squashes aren't they.

Shirley - i always stick to that, Avacado & chocolate are the really dangerous ones to always avoid.

Cucumbers don't have seeds.....The ones we have do. There in the middle, but not all the way to to ends. The squashes I've seen and feed have seeds in the middle too...:scratchch

Well.. think customs may stop it even leaving the country. You have to write a description of contents for customs...food you can't send - what else can I pretend it is - something very rude!!!!

Them zuccini things look like courgettes or marrows.
maybe we here eat the cucumbers before the seeds are fully developed - they are smaller than your picture looks = about 4cm in diametre and about 30cm long.

You know how bananas don't have seeds, just bits where the seeds ought to be, a bit like that!

found this quote: Cucumbers must be sufficiently developed but their seeds must be soft. in DEFRA thing - can't post a link cos it's a PDF

OK! I understand what squash you are speaking of. We do have them here on occasion, in a few of the huge supermarkets.

Here is a good link to include courgettes and marrows squashes.

Kristy, look what I found!

Here is a schedule and information if you want to go pick your own garden fresh produce in the UK. I have no idea if you have a pick your own farm close to you or not. Just in case you do. :highfive:

Sadly, and Badly!!...we don't pick our own, we supermarket. There is a place that sells organics but Trevor won't buy it he says it's too dear - it is very expesive, 1.5 times the price of normal veg - here - http://www.godshillorganics.com/
