Hi there! I just became the proud owner of a 2 year old Jendy Conure named Cheeto. Nice to meet you all! There seems to be less info out there on Jendays than most other conure species, and I want to learn all I can about my baby. I'm not new to birds (fostered a U2 for a couple of years), just to conures....

Hi and Welcome to BoF Tania! You'll find a lot of information and make some great friends here. Go to the "Species" forum and check out the Conure section. We have a cockatiel (Seamus) and a Blue Crowned Conure (Carlo). Seamus is about a year old, and Carlo is 3 1/2 months old. Both have great personalities, Seamus is a whistler, and Carlo is starting to say a few words ("step up" and "what"). Don't limit yourself to the Conure section, check everything out-this a a great web-site. Congratulations on your new addition to your family. Anne

Welcome to the bird forum, Tania. Congrats on adopting your new conure. We have a Sun Conure, named Bailey. He adopted us by flying into our backyard one day.
