This video is a couple years old. These are my friend Steve's birds, both breeders. The female GW that Sharon is holding is named MaiTai and the male Scarlet on the perch is Petree. MaiTai lost her mate and became withdrawn and started to pluck her chest. Petree was just mean, so we brought them home for a while to be around people. What I think is cool is they are both breeders. There isn't any sound, wanted to keep the file size down. Sharon would kill me if she knew I posted this so... Shhhhhhhhhhh....

Thanks Majj, Jeff and Barb

Barb - Being silly is part having birds isn't it, they seem to love silly people.

Not to get OT here but it's nice to see you back. Even if you act silly in front of your babies. ;)

Thank you Jim, lol

I'm usually the only one home when I'm playing w/the fids, lol but am NOT ashamed to be silly in front of anyone, lol, and yup having birds=being silly. Not mention I have a 4yo too, so it just comes naturally ;) I think the more silly u are, the more interaction you have come out of your birds. This is how Akeela is so silly and responsive to me.

Here is a video I have on my site, don't know if you've seen it b4, but is of her dancing, and the only time I've actually 'heard' her sing too!! She starts singing "dance, dance now" roflol Too cute!!

I haven't tweaked the video, as the pic quality came out bad, but trust me, it is HER singing, lol. So turn up the vol a bit to hear her sing!!
