----------------

Please crosspost to every bird list you belong to - and even non bird lists.

Popcorn, a twenty something goffins cockatoo flew out the door on yesterday, Wednesday, August 17th in Hazlet, NJ. He was in a tree in the yard and as we were climbing up to get him, he took off towards the sunset. Pops is fully flighted, and is a good, strong flier - he does know how to fly down, and will generally come when asked to. This bird is very near and dear to my heart, as he owns my parents - and he is a very much loved little guy. He was last seen on Beers St. in Hazlet, NJ.

PLEASE call 732-888-3451, 732-264-5717, or 732-275-7792 if you have any idea where he is. My parents are absolutely heartbroken, but also very determined to find their boy. Fliers are out, area police stations have been notified, ads are being placed today. PLEASE HELP US FIND POPCORN.

I just posted it to at least 5 yahoo messageboards i belong to. Some of them have many hundreds of members (which means potentially more than 2,000 people will see it), so i hope it will help to find Popcorn.

I just recieved this in an email....

Popcorn is HOME. IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!

Carol - you were absolutely right - the third day. My dad was out by the pool
with his binoculars, and all the while he's talking to Pops even tho he couldn't
see him - anyway, he heard "Hi Pops"...and THERE he was. He got a ladder, and
Popcorn climbed down to him...

He's fine. He's hungry. But fine. We, on the other hand, have all aged a good
25 years over the last 2-1/2 days.

I cannot thankyou all enough. For the hand holding, the tips, the suggestions,
and the support. Mostly the support...

Please feel free to crosspost to any lists that you crossposted Popcorn's
loss.

HE'S HOME! And, he did tell me that Momma Gloria scared him - she used "that"
tone - ya know, "get your feathered butt home" tone? So he did.

Love you all! I'm absolutely giddy....
