I have been taking care of my mother in law's parakeet for her and my wife started thinking about getting a bird. I got her a green cheeked conure for our anniversary and she is thrilled. I joined so that I could learn more about birds to better care for ours.

Hi Scott & WELCOME to BoF. You'll enjoy BoF, lots of great people with loads of information.
Good morning Jean-staying up late? Or getting up super early? Have a great Tuesday!
Sue-Came across the pics of Toto (think some were older)-those shower ones are hilarious!
Cloudy and somewhat cool (78 degs so far), sure hope we finally get some rain. The leaves are beginning to drop, and its starting to look like fall. NOT YET-the pool's still open!! LOL.

Welcome Scott!

You joined on the day I flew the coop and went out-of-state for 5 days!

Congratulations on your new conure!

Now you'll have to read the wonderful story about the cherry head conures in The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill by Mark Bittner... you and your wife will love it!
