Hello:

my blue and gold , Rudy and I are saying hello to everybody. We just drove to Mill Creek, WA from West Palm Beach,Florida. It was no sweat, whatsoever. Rudy sang and talked all the way here. We asked AAA which motels would take us and it worked out fine. The only problem is the weather. We are both shivering! We may have to move back to Florida.

Welcome! I hope you get settled in after your move. You will get used to the temps. You won't have to deal with the hurricanes anymore in WA. I watched a program that several people said that if another hurricane hit they were going to move elsewhere.
We look forward to hearing your stories and pics of Rudy. Take care and again Welcome!

Hi and welcome. I am glad your trip went so well. I bet your first winter is going to had hard. You could always keep a place here in Florida for the winter and stay in WA for the summers. LOL

What a move, from Florida to the North West. I am glad to hear your B&G made the trip fine. Our U2 travels with us when ever we go and loves it. Please, post some pics of your cutie.

Winters in WA are different than some places in the Northwest. The highs in the winter are in the 40's and lows are in the 30's. Much different than Florida.

WELCOME!!

I live in Indiana, have lived in Florida and Louisiana, and traveled in the Pacific Northwest in March, and you will LOVE IT THERE! Also, our larger birds travel with us from Indiana to Ginny's in Florida non-stop 17 hrs just fine! Twice now!

Welcome to the bird forum, Rudy's Mom.

Isn't traveling with a bird the coolest? We travel with our sun conure, Bailey and our American Eskimo dog, Jack down to the Florida keys.

What made you move to Washington? Was it the hurricanes? We're already experienced one this year and it's only July!

Both to the forum and to the PNW.

There is a saying up here " if you don't like the weather.....wait ten minutes " :funny: It might take awhile but its a very moderate climate as Bill has stated and the rain helps keep it clean and green. I hope you and Rudy adjust quickly. Next week should help as its supposed to get quite warm.

Hello,

Welcome to BoF.

My boys like to ride in the truck, not sure how well a long trip would be though.

Looking forward to hearing about you and Ruby.

I would give anything to be shivering right now.

What a GREAT idea. Ask AAA who will take us with our birds. Thank you very much for reminding me what I am suppose to get for my membership fee.
