Why do I have to log on twice now?
I don't know BN...I don't log out....I use the cookies to be able to repeatedly return without logging in. I wonder if anyone else experiences what you described.
I don't log out unless Al wants to log in. We have not had that happen. I will try it now to see if it is a problem.
I logged out, Al logged in, one try was all he needed. :scratchch He logged out, I logged in, one try was all I needed. :scratchch I don't know what caused you to do it twice.
All I can say is let us know if it happens again. :highfive:

It's been consistent.
I log in. Click the thingy that takes me to forums and have to log in again to get there.
:P
How odd!!! I have logged out several times just to see if it happens to me...not once. Have you tried not logging out and just shutting your browser? That's if you use cookies. Curious.

I don't use cookies except on two sites that require them. Is that what's going on here?
Our site does not require them but it could be the issue at hand. I would try it out and see if it still happens to you. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Not a big deal... just ... weird ... Like me.
:D
It is amazing how many sites out there that you can't access without a cookie. Just hope it works out to the best for you.
Have you tried shutting off your computer and restarting it to see if that triggers something? Sometimes when something computer strange happens I do that and have had good luck.

The site does require cookies to operate properly. You may experience problems if you have them disabled.

Oh yes, I used to be Win95 tech, so I'm familiar with "If at first you don't succeed, reboot and try again."
I found a way around the double login.
When I first get to the site, instead of logging in, I click the forums link and get a login notice, do so, and then Poof! Here I am!
BN,
Glad you found a way without any more difficulties. You must be the "click and poof" girl! HEHE!
I am glad you found a way. That is still strange, when Al and I tested the sign out/clear cookies, sign in, sign out as each member name we had no problem, the same as Bill. I hope some other members are not having that problem.

Well, if they do, we have a workaround now. :D
Bill ... yep. Pretty soon it'll be click and *poof* off I go to bed!
