My friend and I were able to take part in this in 2002. I wish they would do more of these programs in different communities. There were several members from a bird club in Reno that went to Grass Valley, CA.

Sue we went to listen to the speakers. I did not take Elvie,I was afraid of airborne contamination, not aware of the background of the other birds attending, he would of loved to go. We did visit the birds for only about 30 minutes since we were on a tight schedule, She is an RN and we had to drive about 4 hours to get to her house so she could be on time for work that night.
