Our new little girl ...

After hours of searching the internet for baby B&Gs, we stumbled across our new little girl. I went to the pet shop to get a Bird USA magazine for the breeder listings, never thinking they'd have any parrots ....
I understand the whole "pet store bad" opinion, but I like this particular one. They work with Angels for Animals rescue, the animals they do carry are always well cared for, they carry good products .... so, I didn't mind giving them our money.
Anyway, here's our little girl, who has no name yet. She'll stay there until her cage (Island Cages Grand Cayman) gets here.

Congratulations!!! What a sweet looking bird!

I saw a baby B&G at the pet wholesaler's yesterday - hate to think of birds being 'wholesaled' but it does go on.... I get my fish there, but they do small animals, reptiles and birds - have never seen their bird facility it's in a different building to the rest.. but I digress...

She has a gorgeous sweet face - can't wait to learn her name, and it sounds like the dealer is one of the good ones :) Enjoy her!

Awww what a cutie, Blue and Golds are so much fun and so animated the one the gal I work for has is so funny she sings the song tequila, she talks non-stop, insists on accomanpying me to fill her dish with fresh water and has to supervise the cage cleaning she will get down on the grate when I am cleaning and watch the whole process..your going to have so much fun with a blue and gold..
